Universal car radio

Android 4G car radio compatible with the original FAKRA connection provided by the manufacturers.

Since the year 2000, car manufacturers have started to use the possibilities of original car radios in a different way by connecting them to the vehicle’s ECUs. Not only does this allow for an anti-theft system that is difficult to circumvent, but it also allows for the display and broadcasting of information messages and alerts to the driver.

Thanks to a Bluetooth link, the vehicle’s car radio can now connect with a smartphone or tablet to: either offer additional functions to the connected system (e.g. hands-free phone calls, audio content broadcasting, GPS guidance audio)

Or to use the system as a terminal (display and keyboard) with capabilities far superior to the car radio’s front panel (display and calculation of fuel consumption, rev counter, etc.).
